Regalix Announces Results from its Latest Research on 'State of B2B Marketing Automation 2015'

Marketers Plan to Increase Investments in Automation

PALO ALTO, Calif., May 12, 2015 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Regalix today announced findings from its recent research on 'State of B2B Marketing Automation 2015'. The survey aimed to study how successful B2B marketers implement marketing automation solutions and evaluate the challenges they face while optimizing return on investments made.

Results revealed that most marketers considered lead nurturing as the key driver behind their marketing automation efforts, while only a few chose to mention increasing customer retention as one of the main objectives behind automation.

Nimish Vohra, Senior Vice President – Marketing, Regalix shared his observation saying, "Automation solutions have ushered in a new era of marketing, the trickledown effect impacting bottom-lines and ROIs positively. Most marketers are yet to realize the full potential of marketing automation. However, the general awareness that such efforts can enable businesses to create more value has already set the ball rolling."

Key findings from the survey include:

  • 82% respondents chose improving lead nurturing as the key marketing automation objective
  • 79% marketers say they invest in marketing automation
  • 77% respondents chose analytics and reporting features as factors they consider while evaluating a marketing automation tool
  • 64% marketers said they saw the benefits of using marketing automation within the first six months of its implementation
  • 62% respondents said that they expect their marketing automation budget to increase in the next 12 months
  • 62% marketers have been using marketing automation for over 2 years

Nimish Vohra further adds, "Analytics and automation tools must work in tandem to yield tangible results. It's good to know that marketers plan to increase their investments in marketing automation."
