This is a pretty funny cartoon and definitely relevant. With today's technology there's not reason to forecast sales using a crystal ball. Marketers have got to take more ownership of revenue generation and forecasting while being more responsible for leads deeper into the sales pipeline. I'd suggest marketing automation technology, or revenue generation software as we call it, to help.
