LYNDEN, WA - - June 9, 2016 - - James Obermayer, founder and CEO of the Sales Lead Management Association, announced that its 9,000 worldwide members and website visitors have read over 1,000,000 documents, announcements, sponsor pages, and news items on its website. Obermayer said, “It helps that we have nearly 300 articles and white papers on the site library, 321 radio episodes, and news items added daily.”
The average readership of a document is 918 for all documents counted. The top 100 documents have had 289,689 readers for an average of 2,896. The top 200 had 438,663 readers for an average of 2,193, and the top 500 documents had 809,955 readers for an average readership of 1,619.
“Of course,” Obermayer said, “we have many recognition programs, news postings as well as articles and ebooks, which increase the readership. This count does not include the 82,000-plus listeners to the SLMA Radio Program, the 14,500-plus tweets, activity on the 18 Pinterest boards, or 71,000-plus lifetime page views on the Sales Lead Management Today Blog, and the SLMA Live Channel and its various internet radio programs we produce or distribute, which add another 250,000 listeners.”
In addition to the documents offered on the main SLMA website, the SLMA has other sites for its annual recognition programs (20 Women to Watch in Sales Lead Management, 50 Most Influential People in Sales Lead Management, and 40 Most Inspirational People in Sales Lead Management), which we estimate number another 100,000-plus reviewing nomination listings.
Paul Petersen, vice president of Goldmine, said “I can’t think of anything more important to revenue management than how you interact with your leads. The market changes more often and the buyers are more savvy than ever – so having new approaches and resources is key to getting the most from your marketing efforts. We are pleased to be part of the SLMA as a contributor and more importantly as a user.”
"I'm not surprised that the SLMA has reached the 1M mark -- it's a useful resource for anyone and everyone involved with sales leads," said Eric Quanstrom, KiteDesk CMO.
Jeanne Hopkins, senior vice president and CMO of Continuum Managed Services, said “I have been working with SLMA for seven years, first with HubSpot, then SmartBear, and now with Continuum Managed Services, and am thrilled with the excellent support by the entire team. In addition to sponsoring ‘Women to Watch,’ the SLMA Cartoon series, and being a Prime Sponsor, it’s been a blast working together. Most importantly, Continuum was able to establish a wonderful podcast series as a direct result of the production support of SLMA. So proud to be part of the SLMA family!”
